APRIL IS?
April is recognized as National Autism Acceptance and Awareness Month—a time dedicated to deepening understanding, fostering meaningful inclusion, and celebrating the unique strengths and contributions of individuals on the autism spectrum. With approximately 1 in 36 children identified with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), the importance of awareness and advocacy continues to grow.
Throughout the month, organizations, communities, and advocates come together to host events, advance policy, and share valuable educational resources. These collective efforts aim to empower individuals, support families, and create a more inclusive and informed society for the autistic community.
